....and casually add friends on a daily basis if they get requests.....
....but the message now is....
....'Chose your friends wisely'.....
....or the consequences can be fatal.
Police in Australia are warning young people to remove photographs and personal details from Facebook after an 18-year-old woman was allegedly murdered after meeting a man through the social networking website.
Nona Belomesoff thought she was going to work for an animal welfare organisation through one of her Facebook contacts....a man named 'Jason Green'.
Her body was found in Sydney, and a 20-year-old man, who is said to have set up a fake Facebook profile, has been charged with her murder.
Police allege Christopher Dannevig posed on the internet as 'Jason Green', an animal rights worker, to make his victim believe he was genuine, and told her that she was attending a training facility learning how to rescue animals. Poor girl.
....And what an evil swine to prey on well meaning people like her!
