It's death knell was sounded today as administrators confirmed all its stores would close by January 5, at the likely cost of 27,000 jobs.......................
Woolworths, which has been a feature of Britain's high streets for almost a century, will begin shutting its doors on December 27.............
'Deloitte' the corporate 'recovery' firm confirmed the closures after failing to find a buyer for the business................
But there is SOME good news after all!...................
Stores are set to be flooded with 50 million extra items over the next week in the run-up to Christmas!............ AND Discounts already running at up to 60% will be even heavier as Deloitte looks to clear stock!..............
So grab yourself a Xmas Bargain!...........while you can..............
