Lord Noel Recounts The Meeting

Whatto! .......

You will remember that we were trying to arrange for some lodgers.....
Well......After a few tentative phonecalls we finally made contact.....

....... with a lovely English couple.....
....who appeared to want to act............
...........as 'Fixers' in connection with all the prospective tenants we'd chosen......

After a brief but helpful discussion on the telephone........
...........a meeting was arranged at a secret location......
........ by the Norfolk coast......

.....oh I do so love all this intrigue!
Lady Jacqueline and I drove to the prearranged location......
...... arriving at about two in the afternoon...... and waited.
It wasn't long beofre Mr & Mrs Fixer came over.......
.......... to introduce themselves.....
..........welcoming us warmly.
We were immediately put at our ease....
and we were quickly introduced to the ladies......
....who I must say........
..........are ALL rather lovely......
We hadn't seen any photos of them prior to this meeting.......
........ but from the descriptions they gave us in their applications...........
............I was immediately able to recognise each of them.......
My eye was caught straight away.................
....by a slim and natural blonde.................
"This is 'Supreme'......."
........said Mr Fixer.............
...."and she's from Poland".........
I must say, I was extremely pleased to meet her!
.....and she was every bit as lovely.........
.............. as I imagined she'd be.........

Then he introduced me to a wonderful dark-skinned, dark eyed beauty........
....."This......." he said.........
................ as he moved her towards me....."is Korma (aka Silkie)".....
Wow!........ what a knockout!
"and this is Banty...... who prefers to be known as 'Nuggets'" he explained..............
.....as the final new lodger was formally introduced.
"What a great cross-section we have here" - I thought to myself...........
Lady Jacqueline had been a little anxious about the whole thing.........
.........but was soon in full swing..........

.......even getting to know the rest of Supreme's family......

.......she said they were "absolutely charming".
All that remained was to pay the Admin costs for Mr & Mrs Fixer.........
........... and head back to Virtual Manor with all of our new guests.

They were so excited....................
....chatting away together in the back of the car...............
......and when we got home and they got to see the courtyard....
................ and all the amenities that were now available to them......

.......plus the fact they will have 'free range' over the entire area.....
....they were overjoyed!
In no time they were enjoying the meal we'd provided....

....and wandering about in the warm sunshine............
.......happily posing for photographs...........
They soon began working on the garden too!
Picking up slugs and earwigs......
...and tugging away at the dandelions......
....it was wonderful to see them so happy.
