Lord Noel Says - Happy Birthday Mamma!

Whatto!!

........and 'Hello Everyone!' once more..

...and 'Jolly Happy Birthday' too!!

...to a VERY special Lady....

.....my MOTHER!!

Yes!... I do love a family gathering....

.....especially when it goes as well as this one did!...

We all gathered together............

down by the Riverbank..................

to help her Celebrate her 75th Year on this wonderful Earth!!

Pappa was there....

showing his usual contempt for any passing Paparazzi!...

.........and so was my lovely sister...........

The Dutchess of Wedmore..........

and of course...............

"Birthday Girl!" herself!!..........

They all obligingly posed for family portraits...............

....and we had a lovely lunch...

..with copious amounts of Red Wine...

....followed by filter coffee...

..and then some more Red Wine!!....

"HURRAH!"

It was a beautiful afternoon...

with no breeze at all...

The warm air all around us...

and the river gently winding on its way...

We chatted and laughed........... Until finally....

.....the sun slid from view...

and so we headed back towards Thorpe Manor.....

...for the unwrapping of the presents and cards!...

Mamma said she'd had a wonderful time....

.....and she didn't want it to end!.

Well "Here! Here! to that!"
