Lord Noel On Being In The Pink

Whatto! Party Goers........

 

Last night Lady Jacqueline and myself attended a wonderful wedding reception......

...at a very exclusive Country Hotel.

I am always pleased to attend the evening function of a wedding.....

....the 'Party' bit!

It was a beautiful setting........

....an expertly converted Barn......

....with a wonderful Hotel with a 5 star restaurant attached.

The theme for the night was definitely Pink.........

.....which is the Brides favourite colour.....

The theme continued throughout the venue.......

.....and included all the decor and the cake too......

And also the money we were given..........

.....to use at the gambling tables...........

..... that were provided for us to have a 'flutter' on.

I

 managed to spend my money in record time....

....although Lady J was a little more successful in her endeavours

I think it's strange how Weddings and Funerals are events that give us a chance to meet up with friends that we don't seem to see that often....

We were given a lovely buffet too...........

And soon the dancers got busy on the dancefloor.............

....and I just couldn't resist getting involved..........

......and showed them a thing or two about hip movements!

...........By the end of the night.....there were smiles all round.

 

So a big "Thank You!" to the happy couple..............

....who are now winging their way.......

..... towards a well deserved Honeymoon......

...... in The Maldives.
